Spring League Challenge 2020

Welcome to Southern California’s #1 Spring League!

  • Last year we had 160 teams participating in our first annual Spring League. This year we anticipate over 200 teams!
  • All venues are approximately 15 minutes or less away from each other.
  • Teams do not have to provide a Home Field or travel far distances.
  • We strive to make this the best experience for all of the players and their families.
  • No Coaching Scheduling Conflicts.

Play Dates:

  • March 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, & 29, 2020
  • April 4, 5, 18, 19, 25, & 26, 2020
  • May 2, 3, & 9, 2020
  • No Games Easter Weekend (April 11 & 12, 2020)
  • No Games on Mother’s Day (May 10, 2020)
  • Schedule will not interfere with State Cup Dates

General Info:

  • Age Divisions: Boys & Girls 2012 thru 2006 teams
  • Minimum Seven (7) Games Guaranteed
  • Flight 1 & Flight 2 Competition
  • 2012 & 2011 will play 7v7 (50 minute games)
  • 2010 & 2009 will play 9v9 (60 minute games)
  • 2008 thru 2006 will play 11v11 (70 minute games)

Eligibility:

  • Valid CalSouth & US Club laminated player identification cards or equivalent national association identification.
  • We do accept AYSO & Recreational League credentials.

Roster Size:

  • 2012 & 2011: 14 player max roster
  • 2009 & 2010: 16 player max roster
  • 2006 thru 2008: 18 player max roster
  • Unlimited Guest Players are allowed.

Ball Sizes:

  • 7v7 & 9v9 play with a Size 4 Ball
  • 11v11 play with a Size 5 Ball

Spring League Challenge Referee Fees 2020

Game Fees 2012 and 2011: (50 Minutes)
(each team pays ½ of the fees listed below)

1 Referee – $50.00 ($25 each team)

Game Fees 2009 and 2010: (60 Minutes)
(each team pays ½ of the fees listed below)

1 Referee – $60.00 ($30 each team)

Game Fees 2008 thru 2006: (70 Minutes)
(each team pays ½ of the fees listed below)

1 Referee & 2 Assistant Referees – $112.00 

1 Referee & 1 Assistant Referee – $90.00

1 Referee & 0 Assistant Referees – $70.00

Game Day Procedures:

Update Your Team’s Event Roster

  • Login to your TGS Account at-  https://tgs.totalglobalsports.com/public/registration.aspx
  • Select the arrow to the right of your team
  • Select My Events On the left hand side of the page
  • Select the arrow to the right to the event you are looking for
  • Select Roster on the left hand side of the page
  • Select a game
  • Click the + symbol next to each player you would like to have on the roster OR Select the all players link to move all player to the event roster.

Print The Match Reports

  • Both teams are required to bring two copies of their Printed Match reports to every game.
  • Login to TGS – https://admin.totalglobalsports.com
  • Select your team
  • Select My Events (the arrow on the right)
  • Select Event Roster on the left-hand navigation
  • Select the game
  • Select the light Blue button (Match Report)
  • Both teams must sign the Match Report after the game to receive their player cards.
  • One Match Report Copy stays with the referee. The other Match Report copy stays with the team just incase there are any discrepancies.

Score Reporting – Login into your team account and select your team. A pop up will appear and it will ask you for the score of your game. Enter the score and click next.

Home team is listed first on the schedule. The Home team is responsible to report the score. If the home team hasn’t reported the score within 2 hours of the completion of their game, the opposing team may report the score.

Referee Fees:

All Teams are responsible to pay the referees directly their half of the referee fees in cash before every game. The exact amount is needed. The referees do not carry change.

Player Cards:

Boys and girls teams must be affiliated with USYSA or US Club Soccer. Each team must produce a valid laminated player identification cards or equivalent national association identification. We do accept AYSO & Signature credentials.
